It's very hard to count all the benefits that are provided by honey, not just in general, but in my own case as well!

Nothing soothes a sore throat quite as effectively as heated honey. Whether I take a spoonful straight from the jar, or as a generous dollop dissolved in a cup of tea, it not only does it help relieve my tickling and coughing, but it also relaxes me.
In fact, I have used honey as a sedative in place of a sleeping pill before bedtime. This can be very effective on an empty stomach, since honey abruptly raises the blood sugar level, which then leads to a "crash." So if you're having trouble getting to sleep, you might want to try some honey!
You could stir some into a cup of warm milk, perhaps, since that has a very powerful psychological quality we associate with sleep.
Finally, there is something about heated honey that just feels very nurturing. It's kind of hard to explain, but I know it when I feel it.

Basically you need to identify which is a natural honey and which is "sugarcoated." If you want to differentiate between the natural honey and artificial one then you can tell by the taste.
Natural honey never tastes “very sweet." In the case of artificial honey they use saccharin which makes it taste very sweet. One must avoid the artificial honey as it is not at all useful when it comes to health and medicinal purposes.
My advice is if you want to build your body, then you need to prepare a milk shake with honey, milk, cashew nuts, and consume it twice a day after your exercise. Surely you will notice the effect. I personally use this technique.
Apart from this I frequently use honey for coughs. I never purchase medicines for coughs, because it saves lots of money just by using natural honey.
