My organic restaurant experience at the Café Gratitude in Berkeley, California was maybe my best eating experience in my life!
I had no idea that organic food could be so delicious while still being so healthy. I highly recommend every person who is anywhere near the Bay Area to try out this restaurant, as it was seriously one of the best meals I have had in my life.
The staff and chefs were extremely friendly, and while it might have been a little bit on the expensive side, it was totally worth it! I am looking forward to going back as soon as I have the opportunity to.
It was an experience I'm going to remember for a long time. I'm planning on trying new organic restaurants too.

What can I say about Cafe 15? Wow! Fantastic!
I'm downing the pulled pork as I type: sweet, spicy and tangy, with salsa Verde and a side of citrus slaw ($7.75). This place has an impressively large menu.
It's not the cheapest, but quality of food (lots of local, organic, etc) and preparation seems to be high and the portions seem to be good sized. The line was long so I'd suggest getting there early.
I suppose my only critique so far is that I'd rather have smaller portions for less (so I could try more things at one go). I also recommend their fried green tomatoes and their Cafe 15 Burger.
Its a delicious cheeseburger with caramelized onions and all the fixings. Overall I would give this place a 10/10.

My first experience at the Plant Café Organic restaurant was for Thanksgiving dinner.
This was one of my best dining experiences. The service was excellent. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. I chose the vegetarian menu, while my dinner partner chose the traditional turkey Thanksgiving menu.
My dinner partner thought the meal was so good that she asked for a second serving. The vegetarian meal was incredibly tasty. Last year I went to well known vegetarian restaurant in the area and the Plant's menu was superior.
The chef took great care in combining the right tastes to make the meal such an enjoyable experience. The wine parings with each course were excellent. The Plant is my new favorite restaurant. And check out the organic mixed drinks--fabulous."
Special Features: vibrant bar scene, fit for foodies, good for groups, great for brunch, great for outdoor dining, kid-friendly, late-night find, notable wine list, romantic, special occasion, scenic view, great for lunch.

Great food, especially their pancakes and seasoned potatoes. Vegetarian with lots of vegan options. Dessert and pastries too!
Prices are about average for healthy food, and are worth it. It's right by the footbridge to the Humboldt State campus, so a great option for students as well.
Stop in for a warm breakfast and a yummy dessert and you'll be happy. They only have a few tables, so try to avoid lunch hour.
Only downside is the hippie/stoner factor can be a bit high at times, due to being Arcata...

My family and I were looking for a fun; tasty organic vegetarian restaurant and we stumbled across Dharmas.
I am very happy we found this restaurant because they have great food and good service. I love the organic mushroom sandwiches, they are truly amazing, and I have never been able to finish one.
Everyone in my family loves Dharmas and that is a hard accomplishment for an organic let alone vegetarian restaurant to do.
Dharmas has a great policy where there are no electronics allowed in side, I know some people may not like this but personally I am tired of listening to people talk on their cell phones while I am trying to eat a nice meal with my family.
All I have to say about Dharmas is good, its hard for me to find something bad to say about it, the only thing that comes to mind is everything is made of cheap material and when you are leaving it feels almost like a taco bell because your food comes on a tray and you have to put your dishes away.

If you're looking for a place for breakfast or are have a craving for something sweet, Fraishe has everything.
Fraishe serves organic yogurt, as well as organic frozen yogurt, chocolate frozen yogurt, pomegranate frozen yogurt and even soy-frozen yogurt for a different taste. They keep the pro biotic culture in the yogurt so it’s really good for you, and surprisingly really low in calories.
They offer a variety of fruits, nuts, dark chocolate and even homemade mochi as toppings to sweeten the yogurt a little bit. It’s an incredibly healthy and delicious way to start the morning.
All the chocolate is imported from another organic top of the line chocolate company in Europe. The natural yogurt is great in the morning topped with some fresh fruits as a sort of natural sweetener.
The people that work there are also really friendly and encourage being ecofriendly; if you bring your own bowl they will put your yogurt in that (and sometimes give you extra)!
When you’re in Palo Alto, be sure to put Fraishe on your “must visit” list. You will be more than glad you did!

UNBELIEVABLE ORGANIC FOODS… THE BEST!!!
I have been there 3 times in the last month, and that is saying something. The food is almost entirely organic. It is incredibly authentic and some of the best I have ever tasted.
The wine list is off the charts and we've been shocked at the quality for the price. I love this place.
The service is phenomenal but it's definitely not rushed so be prepared to enjoy and take your time. You can make it go little faster by ordering entrees with your appetizers/salad since they make everything fresh to order. Marco has been our waiter twice and we will request him every time. They are all good though, helpful without smothering you.
This is one of my favorite organic restaurants of all time. We went for Mother's Day with our 9 and 11 year olds, and had an amazing experience. The food was spectacular and the service was exceptional. Our girls are well behaved, however the servers and owner made it very easy on them as well as providing my wife and I with a great meal.
Highly recommended. Also, we are all vegetarian, and the selection was very deep. For us, who sometimes have to settle, this was extraordinary organic food. That being said, don't be scared away if you are not an organic food fan or vegetarian. The food, service and ambiance are well worth it regardless of how you get here.
We will be back for our romantic dinners as well!

Nature's Bounty Cafe - Antioch, CA
In a quaint, older part of Antioch, CA there is a small organic restaurant named Nature’s Bounty Café. A few years ago, I discovered this little gem tucked away in between some vacant buildings.
The food there is awesome! Everything there is created with organic ingredients, with items on the menu ranging from breakfast burritos, free trade coffee, smoothies, salads, soups, to gourmet sandwiches.
In fact, one of my favorite sandwiches there is the meatloaf sandwich! This little café is also stocked with organic goodies like chips, home baked treats, power bars, and of course a wide variety of bottled drinks for your convenience.
Eco-friendly ideas for living can be found throughout the many magazines provided to you for leisure reading. The piece de resistance is that they use earth friendly dishware that can either be cleaned or recycled in the appropriate recycling container!

Once I had chance to visit California in the USA, with my friends for 10 days.
There we went to restaurant, the name was Angelino Restaurant in Sausalito. The look and interior design of the restaurant was very beautiful. We all went in and had a special type pizza, the name of the pizza was Pizza Invernale.
That was really superb. When we inquired about that pizza, we found out it was made of home made sausage, Broccoli raab, Chili flakes and other wholesome items. They use fresh organic ingredients in their dishes whenever possible.
We wanted to try other types pizza there. We had Pizza Margherita which was made of Tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil and some items. Next up was Pizza Vesuvio, and this one was of Bell peppers, Mozzarella, olives and capers.
That first visit to that restaurant made us want to go there every day until the last day of our vacation. That was nice experience in California, really memorable, and very tasty!

My wife and I had been to Venice Italy twice in the last couple of years as well as a few other spots along the coast and fell in love with true Italian cuisine.
So for a recent birthday I looked around and found that in nearby Campbell there was a Tigelleria Organic Restaurant that had some reviews remarking on its authentic ambiance. So off we went to celebrate another year on the planet.
Dinner is most definitely what is happening when you come here. Plan on spending a couple of hours minimum. There are courses and time in between them, so I recommend only taking someone (or ones) that you enjoy their company. Have a few nice dinner conversation subjects ready.
As we savored our selections (and of course shared bites back and forth) I enjoyed the mural paint jobs and the Murano looking glass used in the mellow lighting.
My favorite part of my meal was both the cheeses and the Carpaccio. Raw meat? I didn't have to share it with my wife :). It was just as good as the Carpaccio I had on the Grand Canal in Venice.
I couldn't go for the desert only because of eating so much with my three courses. I took a couple of photos (one included here) and want to compliment the restaurant on their waiters who are fast and quiet. They do automatically add a 17% service charge but they were worth it.
This restaurant is at the top of the strip of Old Town Campbell so a nice after dinner constitutional with your honey should also be put into the evening’s events.
If you find yourself in Campbell California, DO NOT pass up an evening at Tigellaria, it is not to be missed!
