You really need to do both exercise and eat a healthy diet. They go together.
If you are asking me which one is more critical, I would say diet is, but again, you should do both for the best results.
Daily exercise will help keep your blood sugar under control and also your weight.
A poor diet will increase blood sugar and oxidative stress, both of which can cause more wrinkling of the skin, and also weight gain.
A healthy diet of unprocessed foods will tend to allow you to lose weight and stabilize your weight at a more ideal level.
When you are eating healthy, there is less tendency to be overweight.
